This past weekend the Venture section enjoyed taking part in the JOTA-JOTI event, the world’s largest annual digital and radio event.
What a fantastic opportunity to chat to other Scout Groups across the world including those from Ukraine and England, among others. They took the opportunity to share ideas on what they believe scouting to be and collect ideas for meetings, activities and skills!
This type of opportunity not only allows our venturers to chat to other like minded individuals and meet people they would not have met outside of Scouting, but it also drives home the message that Scouting truly is for everyone, no matter where you are from.
