Training for Scouters

Our Scouters were upskilling in a range of areas this weekend.

Our group was represented at the National Assembly in Dublin, where our proposal passed with significant support.

Fifty-two of our members represented the Scouts in the 2026 parade.

Six Venture Scouts braved the cold to sleep in hammocks and practice some bushcraft.

143 young people benefit from Scouting in Newry every week – and we need more adult volunteers to keep it growing.

We are running an egg-citing Easter Raffle to raise some much needed funds for our Scout Group.

Four of our Scouters completed their ‘Scouting Together’ training over the weekend in Ballyhornan.
