Six of our Venture Scouts were accompanied by four Scouters as we had a relaxed night at Dromantine.
Despite the bitter cold (in the negative centigrade!), the majority of us slept in hammocks, with some comfier than others. The benefit of having such a clear night is that we got a great view of the stars and plenty of satellites shooting across the sky too.
We cleaned up the forest area in Dromantine and removed some litter that had been left by others. We are looking forward to using these areas in the future, now that the Ventures have begun to get them ready. We thank them for their service – they were reimbursed in craic and smores!!
