Sixteen Beaver Scouts and a number of Scouters met in Gosford Forest Park on Saturday 11th October for an autumnal ramble. As well as our small walk, we complete a nature scavenger hunt, looking for all manner of wildlife like: squirrels, different coloured leaves, seeds, foot prints and much more. It was a lovely, fresh and crisp day. For a few of our Beavers, this was their first Scout activity and they got to practice using the buddy system. We all were reminded of the ‘Leave No Trace’ principle and put it into practice. The eager Beavers are already looking forward to their next activity!
